NAPA’s Cultural Funding Programme

NAPA’s Cultural Funding Programme supports individuals, organisations and actors of art and culture with a Greenlandic relevance in the whole Nordic region. This means that projects must have at least one Greenlandic partner and one partner from the rest of the Nordic region.

“The support from NAPA is seminal to the Arctic Sounds vision of bridging the gap between Greenland and the other Nordic countries. NAPA supports not only artist travels but has also supported underlying projects in the NORDIC PLAYGROUNDS realm. Especially the co-creation and songwriting programs have benefitted immensely from the NAPA support – both direct financial support and via dialogues on Nordic networking, external support, key contracts and sharing of knowhow.”

The goal of NAPA’s Cultural Funding Programme is to contribute to making the Nordic region the world’s most integrated and sustainable region. We do this by supporting cultural projects that are built on lasting collaborations between Nordic and Nordic-Arctic actors.

The Cultural Funding Programme ensures a widely anchored cultural collaboration, that develops communities and understanding between inhabitants in the Nordic region. Our wish is for more people and organisations to gain increased knowledge about and greater interest for Nordic cultural collaboration with focus on Greenland.
