Greenland Music Policy & Artist Development

Join leading international experts, Greenlandic artists, policymakers, and industry professionals for a unique two-day micro-conference focused on shaping the future of Greenland’s music ecosystem through policy, artist development, and collaborative dialogue.

Greenland Music Policy & Artist Development Conference 2026 is about the united mission by The Music Policy Resilience Network’s (MPRN) to support robust music and cultural policies, highlighting music’s critical role in economic development, national identity, and community resilience teamed up with NAPAs focus on Creative Greenland, supporting the Greenlandic art and cultural industry.

Day 1, Thursday April 23: Policy Day

Venue: Katuaq – Cultural Centre of Greenland, Minor Hall

A day dedicated to fostering policy dialogue and stakeholder collaboration around the future for arts and culture in Greenland.

Day 2, Friday April 24: Artist Day

Venue: Entrepreneurs and Artists House (Invite Only)

Focused on practical artist development and strengthening Greenlandic musicians’ careers.

The event is produced by the Centre for Music Ecosystems, The Nordic Institute in Greenland, the Culture Department of Kommuneqarfik Semersooq and is supported by the Nordic Culture Fund.
