The biggest, best – and so far also the only – podcast about the the Kingdom of Denmark, Rigsrådet, will broadcast live from Nuuk on June 5.
It is the Nordic Institute in Greenland (NAPA) that has invited the three independent voices from Denmark, the Faroe Islands, and Greenland – or perhaps more accurately Danmark, Føroyar, and Kalaallit Nunaat – to engage in an open and exploratory conversation about tensions and shared challenges within the Kingdom.
Previously, political commentator Lars Trier Mogensen, independent consultant Arnakkuluk Jo Kleist, and associate professor Heini í Skorini have discussed issues related to the Kingdom from their respective capitals.
This time, Rigsrådet gathers in Nuuk, where the audience can follow the conversation as it unfolds.
With analysis, personal insights, and probing questions that challenge rigid narratives and open the door to a more nuanced conversation about the relationships between the three nations, Rigsrådet will explore the future of the political, cultural, and economic ties linking the Arctic, the North Atlantic, and Scandinavia.
NAPA invites the public to a live broadcast with Rigsrådet on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 16:30 to 17:30, in Katuaq’s Lillesal in Nuuk.
