Art is Uniting

That seems to be the conclusion from the conversation on arts and culture as resilience.

This year NAPA hosted an online event on Culture Night. The event was a dialogue on art and culture as resilience. 6 artists and culture organizers from the international scene were invited to give their views on the subject.

The online event was hosted by NAPA’s Director, Susanne Andreasen, and you can watch or rewatch the conversation here.

Greenlandic cultural and political figure, Kuupik Kleist, was welcomed to conclude the topic of the day.

Kleist gave his perspective on the current cultural and geopolitical situation in Greenland today:” We are uniting, and this is a sign of resilience”, he said.

The panel consisted of:

Lisbeth Karline Poulsen, multidisciplinary artist, set designer, costume designer, producer of theater and TV, based in Kalaallit Nunaat

Evgeny Goman, artist and producer, project manager and co-curator at Pikene på Broen, based in Norway
