Are you between 18 and 30 years old? Can you imagine yourself working on a farm in Iceland, in a cafeteria Norway or as a receptionist in the Faroe Islands? Or maybe as a photography guide in Finnish Lapland? With Nordjobb you can apply for seasonal jobs throughout the Nordic region.
Nordjobb is a great way to gain work experience and learn about neighboring countries. While working with Nordjobb, you will experience what it is like to live in another Nordic country. For 40 years, ever since 1985, Nordjobb has provided seasonal jobs to over 30 000 young people in total!
Since the year 2004 there have been 42 young people from Greenland travelling to other Nordic countries to work. They have been to for example Faroe Islands, Denmark, Finland and Norway. So far for the year 2025 there are 2 people going to Finland and Faroe Islands – and there is room for more! NAPA helps Nordjobbars from Greenland going to other Nordic countries with a travel support of 3 000 DKK.
Program Manager Bo Nylander from Nordjobb.org encourages Greenlandic youth to apply:

You can apply if you are a citizen of a Nordic or EU country, between 18 and 30 years old and you have a satisfactory skills in Swedish, Norwegian or Danish. Nordjobb helps you finding a seasonal job in another Nordic country, finding housing, interesting cultural and leisure program and help with opening a personal identification number, tax card and bank account.
NAPA, the Nordic Institute in Greenland also advices to keep in mind that it’s good to take sufficient time for the preparations. For example, getting a passport to travel to other Nordic countries takes time and preparation.
