Audition for Arctic Winter Games Performance

Are you between 14 and 19 years old?

 

Do you love culture and performance?

 

Would you like to come to Alaska, the Faroe Islands and Iceland in March 2024?

 

Then you should help make and show the Greenlandic cultural feature for next year’s Arctic Winter Games! We look forward to seeing your audition video!

 

Who can audition?

 

Young people who are between 14 and 19 years old in December 2023 can apply! We will gather 6 young people from all over the country.

 

How do I get to the audition?

 

Use your mobile to make a short video!

 

What should my video contain?

 

  • An introduction to you! Who are you? What do you do in your everyday life? What do you dream of in the future? Why exactly should YOU be involved? We want to be able to feel your personality. It is important that it is clear in your video.

 

  • We want to see what you are good at! Do you play music? Do you sing? Do you love dancing, gymnastics, moving? Do you dance mask dance, play drums, are you a storyteller or are you funny? Then show it!

 

You choose what you want to show us. We want to see what you are good at and find funny.

 

Your video should be 2-5 minutes long.

 

Who will see my video?

 

The team working with the Arctic Winter Games will see your video. It will not be shown to others or shared anywhere.

 

How do I send my video to you?

 

You must send it through www.wetransfer.com to: kuluk@napa.gl

 

Is there a deadline?

 

You must send us your video no later than October 10, 2023 at 8:00 PM.

 

What happens after I have sent my video?

 

The team behind AWG will watch all the videos and select the finalists who will be invited to an interview with us. Everyone who has submitted an audition video will be notified if they have progressed to the interview on October 16th.
