NAPA, the Nordic Institute in Greenland is looking for an advisor

Do you want to work with a multicultural Nordic and Arctic community?

We are a small, Nordic institution under the Nordic Council of Ministers with enthusiastic employees who would like to have a colleague! Our most important task is to ensure that Arctic perspectives are seen and recognized throughout the Nordic region – and we do this in many ways.

Your main task will be to advise applicants and administer our Cultural Support Programme, as well as other Nordic support programmes, so that art and cultural projects are realised. Various tasks are also included.

We are looking for you who:

  • Is strong in structure and systems
  • Has experience with and thrives on administration tasks
  • Has experience with various IT systems and preferably CMS systems
  • Has experience with fund applications – either as an applicant or case processing
  • Has good experience of using Excel etc.
  • Is good at communicating with people, has a broad view of people and likes to advise and help others.
  • Has a multicultural understanding and good language skills in Greenlandic, English and at least one Scandinavian language

Knowledge of the education sector and cultural life in Greenland is a clear advantage, but not a requirement.

We offer:

  • Salary according to qualifications
  • Generally good and flexible working conditions, including:

Flexible working hours

Possibility of homework

Paid telephone and internet at home

Paid training subscription

The position is full-time 40 h/h.

The position is available to be filled as soon as possible and preferably no later than 1 December 2024.

Application, CV and other relevant documents must be in our hands no later than 27 October and sent together to www.norden.org/da/karriere.

Interviews are carried out in week 44 and possibly 45 both physically and online.
