Numbers and Statistics

As part of the work to promote Nordic international co-operation in the Arctic, the Nordic Council of Ministers’ (NMR) Nordic Arctic Co-operation Programme has contributed to increased knowledge about the environment, economy and social conditions in the region. The programme of 2022 – 2024 will be the ninth programme in a row since 1996, and the first under Vision 2030.

The width of the programme and the co-operation’s ability to reach smaller actors and stakeholders in Arctic constitute the strength of the co-operation.
