
UNLEASH INNOVATION LAB IN GREENLAND
The organization UNLEASH is a global initiative rooted in the Nordic region. They work towards creating a leading platform for innovative solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals by engaging young talents from around the globe.
In August 2022, UNLEASH hosted a regional Innovation Lab in Nuuk, Greenland, with a focus on the Nordic-Arctic region with 200 young participants. The aim of the Innovation Lab in Greenland is to create partnerships across the Nordic-Arctic region, exchange experiences and generate innovative sustainable solutions during a week-long program.
The project period of the Innovation Lab in Greenland ran from March 2022 and ended ultimo September 2022.
PLANET Part of the Innovation Lab in Greenland is about debating and discussing sustainable solutions to environmental issues.
PEOPLE The project supports and prioritizes the local community in Greenland by ensuring local ownership and relevance for Greenland and Arctic. The project focuses on Greenlandic culture and history by educating non-Greenlandic participants on this. This encourages curiosity and culture exchange among the participants from across the world.
PROSPERITY The project focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship as one the learning goals on the Innovation Lab.
PARTNERSHIPS Partnerships across borders and collaboration between different participants and institution in crucial for the Innovation Lab and a key priority.
