Do you want to explore your creativity at the culture night? Create something new at NAPAs sewing workshop in Katuaq
Get the opportunity to create something new when we, in collaboration with 4 competent teachers, will be upcycling old flags, banners, clothes and merchandise into new and personal masterpieces.
You could create scrunchies, a new bag, a hoodie, or a purse – The sky’s the limit.
We will provide materials, tools, and competent guidance, so the only thing you should bring is your curiosity and creative will.
Sustainability is in the spotlight when we, along with Suialaa Arts Festival and Katuaq host this workshop, and so we have collected pre-loved clothing as well as materials from Nuuk Nordisk Festival that are no longer in use.
The workshop is created with support from Najukkami Tapiissuteqartarfik – Lokalpuljen which makes it possible for all to participate free of charge.
We look forward to creating something new with you.
