Allattarl! <\/i><\/strong>is a project that gives young people a voice and a stage through rap and texts. In close collaboration between Det Starter Med Musikken from Denmark (DSMM) and Nordens Institut i Gr\u00f8nland (NAPA) rap camps are created for young people in Nuuk, Paamiut, and Nanortalik.<\/strong><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Allattarl!<\/i> brings together young people from diverse backgrounds in a creative and inclusive learning program that strengthens well-being, self-esteem, and agency through music and community. Here, participants have the opportunity to collaboratively develop their own stories, share their experiences, and express what is happening in their lives, supported by professional instructors.<\/p><\/div>

On Tuesday, April 26, the first open house will be held at NUIF in Nuuk from 15:30\u201320:00, where Det Starter Med Musikken, in collaboration with Nordens Institut i Gr\u00f8nland, will introduce Allattarl!<\/i> In the following two Tuesdays, open house events will take place in Paamiut at Taqqissuut and in Nanortalik at Ungdomsklubben.<\/p><\/div>

During the open house events, everyone interested is invited to stop by for a conversation about participating in the rap camps in Nuuk, Paamiut, and Nanortalik, and to meet the skilled and highly inspiring instructors.<\/p><\/div>

At each location, Allattarl!<\/i> offers four to five energetic and memorable days filled with rap, text writing, creativity, and music, all culminating in a final concert and celebration.<\/p><\/div>

Andachan \u2013 producer (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk, Paamiut, and Nanortalik)<\/strong>
Andachan is a Greenlandic producer and electronic musician, regarded as a prominent and innovative voice in the Greenlandic music landscape. He works at the intersection of electronic music, beat production, and experimental soundscapes, combining modern production with cultural and linguistic references from Greenland.<\/p><\/div>

Angutitsiaq (Angukasik) \u2013 rapper and producer (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk)<\/strong>
Angutitsiaq, also known as Angukasik, is a significant voice in the Greenlandic underground hip-hop scene and is often credited with paving the way for more complex and introspective lyrics. His artistic expression is rooted in life in Nuuk and the social dynamics of the city\u2019s residential areas.<\/p><\/div>

Bigg Kaka \u2013 musical director ALLATTARL!<\/i> (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk, Paamiut, and Nanortalik)<\/strong>
Bigg Kaka is among the most experienced and recognized rappers on the Danish hip-hop scene. He has received both gold and platinum certifications and has performed on all major stages and festivals in Denmark. He is especially known for his rapid \u201cmachine-gun flow\u201d and energetic concerts with strong audience engagement. His music ranges from classic hip-hop tracks to newer material with broad appeal.<\/p><\/div>

Finni \u2013 artist and songwriter (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk, Paamiut, and Nanortalik)<\/strong>
Finn Lynge Frederiksen is one of the most prominent and respected voices in the modern Greenlandic music scene. Based in Sisimiut, he has, over decades, established himself as a versatile artist, songwriter, and producer who masters the balance between catchy pop-rock and deep, meaningful lyrics. His work spans from intimate live performances to technical production for other major cultural figures.<\/p><\/div>

Iris Poparic \u2013 rapper, educator, and artistic facilitator (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk, Paamiut, and Nanortalik)<\/strong>
Iris Poparic is a rapper, singer, educator, and artistic facilitator with more than 10 years of experience as a rap coach. She has worked with teaching, development of educational materials, projects, and long-term creative programs for young people. In addition, she has performed at venues such as Roskilde Festival, collaborated musically with artists including Tobias Rahim, and worked as a project coordinator at Headspace.<\/p><\/div>

Lucas \u2013 artist and assistant (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk)<\/strong>
Lucas is a versatile artist with roots in Greenlandic, Danish, and Iranian cultures, giving him unique cultural depth and a broad perspective. He moves confidently within genres such as reggae, dancehall, and hip-hop and is particularly recognized for his deep lyrics and strong visual imagery.<\/p><\/div>

Minik Hansen \u2013 poet and educator (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk)<\/strong>
Minik Hansen is a self-taught poet and lyricist. He is especially known for his lyrical work in the Greenlandic reggae band Sauwestari and for texts that unite poetry, music, and storytelling. He primarily writes in Greenlandic with great linguistic precision and respect for form, rhythm, and rhyme.<\/p><\/div>

Parnaq \u2013 rapper and mentor (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk)<\/strong>
Parnaq is Greenland\u2019s first female rapper and a central figure in the development of the Greenlandic hip-hop scene. With roots in Ilulissat and strong ties to Nuuk\u2019s underground, she has paved the way for new artistic voices – particularly among young women.<\/p><\/div>

$MALIKK \u2013 rapper and producer (ALLATTARL!<\/i> \u2013 Nuuk)<\/strong>
$MALIKK is a Danish-Greenlandic rapper and producer, raised in Nuuk and fluent in both Greenlandic and Danish. He is known for his energetic and uncompromising style, combining punk attitude and old-school hip-hop with contemporary stories about youth, identity, and cultural diversity.<\/p><\/div>

Background<\/strong>
Nordens Institut i Gr\u00f8nland has entered into a cultural partnership with Det Starter Med Musikken in Allattarl!<\/i> to give young people a voice, enabling them to collaboratively develop their own stories, share their experiences, and express what is happening in their lives through music and lyrics. Allattarl!<\/i> is rooted in local support that strengthens young people in being heard and taking the stage, and sprung from the writing competition and short story anthologies Allatta!<\/i>, developed by NAPA and partners since 2013.<\/p><\/div>

Since 2018, Det Starter Med Musikken has conducted more than 20 rap camps and related intensive music programs with over 350 young participants. The rap camp format is an intensive musical learning process in which young people work closely with professional rappers, producers, and coaches in safe, creative communities that strengthen both artistic and social development. Previous participants describe the programs as life-changing experiences, where they discover new communities, find the courage to perform on stage, and realize that their voice has value.<\/p><\/div>
