The work was created for the Suialaa Arts Festival 2025 and shows Canada and Kalaallit Nunaat&#8217;s connection to each other through the sled dogs.<\/p><p>The story is told first in Kalaallisut and then in English. The English version starts at 6:42.<\/p><p><strong>Glenn Gear<\/strong> is an Indigiqueer filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist of mixed Inuit heritage currently living in Montr\u00e9al. He is originally from Corner Brook Newfoundland and has family throughout Nunatsiavut. His practice is grounded in research-creation shaped by Inuit and Indigenous ways of learning and knowing \u2013 often employing the use of animation, photography, archives, painting, and work with traditional materials such as sealskin and beads.<\/p><p><strong>AneMarie Ottosen<\/strong> is 43 years old and from Nuuk.
